Executive Director - GREG MUDD
I am a proud graduate of South High School in Wichita and Wichita State University. With a diverse background in logistics, operations, and sales, I’ve spent the last four years building relationships as Business Relations Specialist with Velocity/Butler Electric Cooperative in El Dorado. Since moving here in 2021, I’ve fallen in love with this vibrant community.
Connecting with business owners and leaders has been a rewarding experience, and I’ve embraced the town by participating in events like the Old Fashioned Christmas Parade, Main Street meetings, Gold Fest, Farmer’s Market, and Chamber events. These opportunities have shown me what makes El Dorado a truly special place to live, work, shop, and play.
After nearly 50 years in Wichita raising my sons, Christian and Nickolas, I never imagined leaving—but now I can’t imagine living anywhere else. El Dorado’s collaborative spirit, thriving downtown, and rich community life have captured my heart. From beautiful seasonal decorations and unique local businesses to the stunning Flint Hills and our amazing lake, El Dorado has it all.
As Executive Director, I’m excited to help foster growth while preserving the home-town charm that makes El Dorado so extraordinary.
I am proud to have served the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce for the past three years, where I have used my experience to support our members and community. As a proud Augusta, Kansas, native, my connection to El Dorado began with my first job at just 15 years old. Over the years, I’ve built a deep appreciation for the city and its residents. My academic background includes studies at Butler Community College right here in El Dorado.
I’m passionate about fostering growth and collaboration within our community, and I am truly honored to support the Chamber Members, the city of El Dorado, and the broader community. I look forward to building meaningful connections and working alongside each of you to create a thriving future.
