New Podiatrist Joins Susan B. Allen Medical Group
(El Dorado, KS) – Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Podiatrist/Foot & Ankle Surgeon Asim Sayed, DPM, AACFAS, to the SBA Medical Group – Podiatry.
Dr. Sayed (SAY-ED) is an American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) qualified surgeon. His practice will include podiatric care for anything below the knee – specialties include sports medicine, trauma, custom orthotics, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, wound care, bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, plantar fasciitis and all things with routine foot care.
He will begin seeing patients at Susan B. Allen on September 26, 2023. Dr. Sayed is dedicated to improving patients' quality of life by using advanced podiatric medicine to develop highly effective treatment plans.
Dr. Sayed was born in Wichita and grew up just a few miles from the front doors of SBAMH. El Dorado Lake was a destination for cherished memories with his family and friends. Dr. Sayed's fascination with podiatry took root during high school as he provided wound care for an elderly neighbor, igniting a lifelong passion.
He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas. Dr. Sayed then pursued a rigorous 4-year podiatric medical school degree at Barry University in Miami, FL. After medical school, he completed a comprehensive 3-year surgical foot and ankle residency at Jackson North Medical Hospital in Miami.
Dr. Sayed joins SBAMH from various local hospitals and private practices in Kansas City. During his time in KC, he has showcased his skills as a practitioner in all aspects of podiatry medicine.
Dr. Sayed, his wife Nicole, and their 2-year-old son, Zayn, plan to relocate to Butler County this fall. They are expecting their second child this December. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sayed finds joy in family moments with loved ones, including their corgi Herbert. He also enjoys playing golf and avidly follows professional and college sports. Dr. Sayed is deeply honored to contribute his expertise to the community that has profoundly influenced his life's journey.
